SOAP + GLORY VITAMIN C FACIAL WASH

First, let’s be specific. This post refers to the ‘Face Soap and Clarity 3-in-1 Daily Detox Vitamin C facial wash‘. Phew!

I’ve been using this glorious facial wash for about 4 years now and there are a few good reasons why I’ve continued to use it. I’ve always been a big fan of Soap & Glory products (found in Boots if you are not too familiar with it), mainly because of their gorgeous scents and informal yet engaging and quirky packaging.

It states it is not a ‘soap’ but indeed a facial wash if you want to be science-y about it. I love its fresh natural yuzu superfruit scent which reminds me of lemons! Its subtle scent wakes you up and you instantly feel clean, whatever time of day. It also elicits as sense of nostalgia, reminding me of college and summer…

It claims to be suitable for all skin types: I would agree as I have used it when I have had ‘different skin’. My skin does not feel at all dry or stripped of natural moisture when i’m done, no matter the various conditions my skin decides to be throughout the year (dry, oily, normal, dehydrated) – i’m mainly normal-combination.

The 350ml bottle is great value and lasts an age as you really do not need to use a lot. I mainly purchase this when it’s on offer (e.g. reduced price or 3 for 2 – make the most of their other gorgeous products) Their goodies pretty much leave you feeling squeaky clean and scented.

My current bottle has lasted me probably 6 months – and i’ve only just passed half way!

I hope this helps for anyone with their eye on it, or looking for a new budget staple in their beauty/skincare routine đŸ™‚
