I was a little tentative to purchase this shampoo at first, mainly because of the mixed reviews and hefty price tag for 250ml … £22.50!
Honestly, I have wanted to try this for a while. I ordered it on lookfantastic and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. It claims to be a weekly detoxifying shampoo that removes residue and buildup: not only does it smell fresh and smell like a spa (think mint, lemon and holiday combined, I know!), but it does exactly as it says. I prefer to use this once fortnightly, using my usual shampoo and conditioner at other times, and it does me just fine. I tend to get very greasy hair so this works as an occasional treat which makes me feel like I’ve been to a salon, which I haven’t be to in years! (my lovely hairdresser comes to ours)
The key scents of ginger and rosemary are evident, making it smell divine. You can use this as part of your normal haircare routine or as a treat to detoxify. The brand claims it is good for all hair types, except colour treated, although I have highlights and ombré hair and haven’t had any issues.
However, I am still uncertain about the price tag and whether or not I will purchase it again. I’ve had it for about 3 months and haven’t even used a quarter, so until a cheaper alternative comes up, I will continue to enjoy this beauty!
