I’m a little late to jump on the hype, but I thought I would give the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion a try. It’s an award winning spot solution and has become a staple in my skincare routine. I’ve always suffered with blemishes from hormones and stress, so I invested in this small glass bottle (that smells like Carmex lipbalm) which also looks pretty in my bathroom cabinet. Its formulation includes Salicylic Acid and Zinc Oxide which help to combat acne/spots.
How does it work? Do NOT shake the bottle! Simply dip a cotton into the pink solution at the bottom and back through the clear solution, before dabbing on the blemish. Best used overnight. It leaves a pink splodge on the skin: I have used it on multiple occasions and it has worked pretty much every time. The next day, the targeted blemishes had reduced in size and colour.
I am very happy with this brief investment and will continue to use it. Worth the investment? Oh, yes.
