What do I think of this year’s Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction 2026 shortlist?

I won’t lie, I’m pretty underwhelmed, especially after the last 2 years of the Non-Fiction Prize lists which were fantastic. 

I predicted 2 books which could make it this year, but I’d say I’m pretty excited for the Fiction Prize shortlist instead – the opposite to what I was saying last year!

Based on that, I’m not going to take a punt at this year’s possible winner! Who knew 2 hotel books could make the shortlist!?
