Not long ’til Christmas! Bit of a budget?
This post is something I would have wanted to see each Christmas as it gets closer when I’m running out of ideas, or simply don’t quite have the pennies. My aim is to give you a few last minute ideas which will be appreciated by all, whether it be for parents, siblings, friends, or someone at work, all the while gifting something worthwhile and not just for the sake of it!
Read on to see some of my recommendations which I’ve linked, where I have created 3 sections to cater for different budgets; £10 or less, £10-£20; and £20+

£10 and below
–Notebook/Journal and pen
Start someone’s new year off the ‘write’ way with a fresh notebook or journal and a quality pen. Check this one out; from sustainable brand TALA
–Photo frame
Framed photo; a perfect sentimental gift for friends and family. Get the frame, add the photo!
–Re-usable bag
Supermarkets have some great foldaway options
–Book
–Cosy socks – A MUST!
–Mindfulness Colouring book
-DIY goodie box
Cookie mix in a jar, gingerbread men, hokey pokey (honeycomb), dried fruit and nut mix (see image, left)
Make your own gift boxes!
Find some stencils online, cut them out, trace onto card and cut out, assemble, decorate and fill with goodies! Keep any leftover bits to make your own gift tags

-Fancy coffee, tea, biscuits
Homesense (image, right), Waitrose and M&S have some great options
–Home baker
Spatula/tools, oven gloves, cake tester, apron
-Recipe book
Look on Ebay for some great deals instead of buying new or recommend them to borrow from library
Generous £10 – £20
–Diffuser
(I’m rather anti-candle due to some of the chemicals, even though some scents are GORGEOUS. Diffusers are a great alternative)
-Gym bunnies
Foam roller, resistance band, ankle straps, lifting straps/gloves, gym diary; protein bars/cookies/mix (look out for any offers)
–Metal waterbottle, metal or bamboo lunchbox (great for the little ones!), re-usable coffee cup
A little more generous £20 or more
If you’ve got a little more in your budget, trying stretching out:
–Gift experience
Massage/spa day, day out (Virgin Experience Days), bakery/cookery course, car experience
–Store/online voucher
Bit of a cop out but ideal if you are really short on ideas (Supermarket voucher – help someone out on their next shop, ASOS, highstreet voucher)
–Box/service subscription
Netflix, Hellofresh, Glossybox
