THE HANDMAID’S TALE – MARGARET ATWOOD

March 31, 2022March 11, 2022by lizziebweek2 Comments on THE HANDMAID’S TALE – MARGARET ATWOOD

I’m a bit late to the party with one of the most iconic books ever written… Margaret Atwood’s novel which she is best known for: The Handmaid’s Tale. First written in 1980s, Atwood’s work is a great piece of feminist fiction – whilst it may not seem it, she drips information of whether or not [...]

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Lizzie and welcome to my blog!

When I have the time, I love to travel, eat chocolate, read books, try, test and review products, write, visit charity shops, eat more chocolate, book some more travel and then read some more… (although not necessarily in that order!)

I hope you enjoy this space I’ve created, feel free to give the posts a like and leave a comment! You can even check out my YouTube and Instagram!

I think this is the 5th Paige Toon novel I’ve read and my gosh, did it hit the emotions - like all of her novels! Let’s get back on the grid! And the 2nd as promised, of course featuring my lovely Harry! Thanks again to the wonderful Georgia-Maia 🥰 I’m not one for posting frequently (instead preferring the written word), but can we please appreciate this super slick design by the talented Georgia-Maia?!
A few new additions and oldies to my book collection! 📚 New favourite author alert! Not quite one sitting, but in one day when I headed to Canterbury Bit of a weird, washy and wet weekend. I’m a bit sick of the rain and craving some sun, but that hasn’t stopped me from running a few errands, reading, blogging and working on my own novel - nearly at the 50k mark now! Sometimes Slow Sundays are what you need 😌 Continuing with my top 5 from 2022…
