Hello! You join me as I try to read the full Women’s Prize for Fiction 2024 shortlist before the announcement at the end of June.

The shortlist:
- Restless Dolly Maunder by Kate Grenville*
- Soldier Sailor by Claire Kilroy*
- The Wren, The Wren by Anne Enright*
- Enter Ghost by Isabella Hammad*
- Brotherless Night by V. V. Ganeshananthan*
- River East River West by Aube Rey Lescure*
My aim is to provide an overall view of each book, by a typically non-literature girlie, who instead prefers commercial types! However, after last year’s shortlist, I was very impressed and motivated to read more of them, especially after the author readings at Women’s Prize Live.
Over the next few days, I’ll be releasing a little bit about the books in the run up to this year’s winner announcement! My aim is to provide my overall thoughts, maybe a mini synopsis (spoiler free!), recurring themes, books they’re similar to and whether I’d recommend them.
Have you read any of the 2024 shortlist?
