Day 4: Theakston Crime Writing Festival, Harrogate

We’re onto the final day of the festival! And what a jam-packed one it’s been. Check out the previous few days if you haven’t already…

Sunday was a super short day for me with just the one session, mainly because 3 of my favourite authors were on the same panel for ‘When Sally Killed Harry’ (what a title!).

The panel focused on domestic noir: what happens after you’ve found happily ever after, only for it to take a dark turn…

TM Logan led the session, joined by Shari Lapena, Louise Candlish, CL Taylor and Claire Douglas.

They discussed coming up with new ideas in a crowded market as well as the darker sides of love and friendship.

Like previous sessions, there was the chance to get books signed. I regret culling my books and wish I brought them all! TM Logan remembered me from the day before and learned that I’ve read all of his books – woop! Then I had some brief chats with Louise Candlish (amazing lady) and Shari Lapena.

After an amazing weekend, it was back home to my pooch, Harry. He was happy to see me back at a decent hour.

Thank you so much for your love and support on my blog – I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as I’ve enjoyed reliving them. I’ve documented it on my YouTube too! (or will be!)

xx
